Bench Clothing
Born in Manchester in 1989 Bench started as a t-shirt brand largely influenced by BMX biking and skateboarding. In the 90’s Bench grew and it became a respected urban lifestyle brand which won awards including coolest street wear brand by 2007/2008 Cool Brands panel. Bench prides its self on its association with Manchester including its Music scene and its urban streets, as its slogan states ‘art of the streets’. Bench has become much more than just a t-shirt brand, manufacturing jeans, jackets, hats, hoodies and accessories. The original designs had large branding and designs on them. These can still be seen today although some ranges are based on clean designs with unique design features. As well as men’s clothing, Bench has women’s and kids ranges as well as accessories. Bench enjoys its individuality and its unique designs and its link to real people. So much so that in 2009 Bench became the shirt sponsor for Morecambe Football club for the 09/10 season. Never forgetting is roots Bench has successfully tried its trade across the world gathering followers from all over Europe with stores in Berlin and Frankfurt and further afield in Australia and Canada.
